Joey Votto follows with a walk and suddenly Kluber finds himself in a jam with Josh Donaldson coming to the plate who delivers a single to right scoring Molina for the 1st run of the series. Corey Dickerson follows with a 3 run blast to give the Reds 4 big runs in the 4th. Kluber K'd the next 2 batters to end the inning giving him 9 Strikeouts in 4 innings. The Reds go to the pen again this time bringing in Cecil to work out of the jam with the infield playing halfway a ground ball to second lead's Walker to try to cut the runner down at the plate but Lemahieu is safe Orioles make it 5-4, still no one out then a Robinson single loads up the bases Piscotty delivers a SF for a 6-4 lead.  Asche strikes out but Andrus walks to load the bases again with 2 outs but Cecil is able to strike out Jason Heyward to end any further damage. Iin the bottom of the 1st LeMahieu leads off with a single, Heyward connects for a 2 run homer to put the Birds up 2-0 and after a flyout came a Pollock single, then Burnett hit Robinson with a pitch and with 1 out the O's were back in business.  AJ was able to strike out Piscotty and get a line out to 3rd to escape. In the top of the 2nd a Dickerson single followed by a Rasmus double looked to delivery a run for the Reds but Dickerson was thrown out at the plate . Walker was able to get a single to right as Rasmus scampered home  making the score 2-1. The starters settled down before a bottom of the 5th rally by Baltimore. Heyward doubled to lead off the inning but the next 2 batters were retired before Robinson was able to deliver a 2 out single to give the O's a 3-1 lead heading into the 6th.
